Resort Description

Situated on the Verde River, this 300-acre oasis in the high desert of Arizona is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Red Rocks to the north, Mingus Mountains to the west and the Hackberry Mountains to the south. The climate is moderate year-round. Rich in geological and cultural history, the area provides hours of exploring and sight-seeing -- from the famous ghost town of Jerome to scenic drives through Sedona, ablaze with many colors.

Your cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, dinette, living room, air conditioning and features cable television and deck. No smoking is permitted in the units. Cottage unit has one-bedroom with queen bed and a small loft. OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath, 1 queen and full size sleeper sofa in living room. A valid credit card is required at check-in. No telephone in unit. A laundry facility is available on site. No pets allowed. Recommended adult occupancy of one-bedroom cottage is 2. Occupancy is enforced. Security guard on duty.

GPS Coordinates: N 34 degrees 40.214 and W 111 degrees 56.945; elevation is 3356 ft.

From Flagstaff: Travel south on I-17 to Camp Verde, Exit 287. Turn off on Hwy 260 and travel northwest about 8 miles. The preserve is on the right, between mileposts 212 and 211.

From Phoenix: Follow I-17 north to Hwy 260 and travel northwest about 8 miles. The preserve is on the right, between mileposts 212 and 211.

From Prescott: Travel south on Hwy 69 to Dewey, then northeast on Hwy 169 to the I-17 junction. Take I-17 north to Hwy 260 and travel northwest about 8 miles. The preserve is on the right, between mileposts 212 and 211.

Note: Hwy 89A from Prescott to Cottonwood is not recommended.
