From Los Angeles: North on Hwy I-5 to Hwy 14, north on Hwy 14 to Crown Valley Rd (23 miles). Exit right on Crown Valley Rd to the intersection in the old town of Acton (2 miles downhill). Go straight through the stop sign across the railroad tracks, staying on Crown Valley Rd, 2.2 miles to preserve on left.
From Northern California: Follow I-5 south to the Highway 14 exit, then turn left. Use the same directions as L.A. south.
From Mojave:Follow Highway 14 from Mojave through Lancaster and Palmdale for 8 miles, and follow Hwy 14 to the Crown Valley Rd exit. Drive downhill 2 miles to the intersection in Acton. Straight ahead 2.2 miles you will see the preserve on the left.
